DentalTwin supports a wide range of prosthetic and implant planning cases.

Our AI algorithms are optimised for tooth setup, provisional design, and prosthetically driven implant planning.

Supported Case Types

1. Single-Tooth Restorations

  • Crowns
  • Veneers
  • Inlays/Onlays

2. Multiple-Unit Restorations

  • Bridges (short- and long-span)
  • Multi-tooth veneer setups

3. Full-Arch Cases (with conditions)

  • Supported if at least 2 remaining teeth per jaw are present before extraction.
  • Ensures proper anatomical reference for accurate setup.

4. Immediate Implant Cases

  • Prosthetically driven setups for implant planning.
  • Designed for use in guided surgery workflows.

5. Shell Temporaries

  • Thin-walled provisionals for crowns and bridges.
  • Pre-operative design allows reduced chairside time.

Limitations

  • Edentulous arches without any teeth remaining are not supported.
  • Compressed files (ZIP, RAR, etc.) are not accepted — please upload individual STL/PLY/OBJ files.
  • Complex cases with unclear scans may require resubmission with better data.

Tips for Best Results

  • Always provide clear, high-quality intraoral or model scans.
  • Include both upper and lower arches for better occlusion reference.
  • Add specific instructions in the case notes for technician validation.
