My Cases Explained

Learn how to view, filter, and manage all your DentalTwin cases from one central place.

Overview

The My Cases section is your hub for managing all ongoing and past work. It is accessible from the left hand menu and is divided into:

  • Active – All ongoing and in progress cases
  • Flagged – Cases you have marked for review or follow up
  • Finished – Completed cases moved out of Active
  • Trash – Deleted cases that can be restored

Active Cases View

When you open Active, you can view your cases as a table or, using the view toggle in the top right, as tiles. Both views show the same information.

Each case shows:

  • Product type (e.g., DentaBRIDGE, DentaTEMP, DentaWAX)
  • Case ID
  • Comment
  • Unit cost for the case
  • Last edited date/time
  • Status (for example For Review, Processing, In Review, Approved)
  • Preview button
  • More Actions menu, shown as three dots on the right hand side

Filtering

You can filter your cases by:

  • Product Type
  • Status

Use the Search field to find a case by name or ID.

The More Actions Menu

Click the three dots on any case tile to open More Actions. This menu always shows the same four options, regardless of which tab you are viewing:

  • Finished – Mark the case as Finished, moving it out of Active.
  • Details – View the order form submitted for this case. This is a read only view, details cannot be edited from here.
  • Report Case – Opens the Need Help widget, so you can request a revision or report an issue directly with a technician, by Live Chat or Email.
  • Delete – Move the case to Trash.

Other Tabs in My Cases

  • Flagged – Ideal for cases you need to keep track of or revisit.
  • Finished – Stores inactive cases, you can restore them to Active if needed.
  • Trash – Stores deleted cases, cases can be restored unless permanently removed. See How to Restore a Case from Trash for details.
