🦷 Veneers, Inlays, and Onlays are Now Part of DentaBRIDGE

Learn what's new, and how to submit veneer, inlay, and onlay cases.

Overview

Since the 1 September update, DentaBRIDGE covers the full range of fixed restorations in one place: crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, and onlays. All from the same order form, through the same workflow you already know.

Each case continues to be reviewed and approved by a qualified dental technician before the file reaches you.

What's New

Veneers — Thin, anatomical coverage for the facial surface of a tooth.
Inlays — Precise, indirect restorations designed to fit within the cusps of a prepared tooth.
Onlays — Broader indirect restorations covering one or more cusps, for cases beyond what an inlay can support.

There is nothing new to learn to use them. If you have submitted a DentaBRIDGE case before, the workflow is identical.

How to Mark Your Case

When marking teeth for reconstruction on your scan, you can now choose from five types:

Preparation
Pontic
Veneer
Inlay
Onlay

Select the correct type for each tooth before submitting. Only dies and pontics can be used by the AI for connected bridge work, veneers, inlays, and onlays are marked and designed individually.

Pricing

Veneers, inlays, and onlays are billed exactly like crowns and bridge units: one restoration is one unit, at the same rate, from the same allowance as the rest of your DentaBRIDGE usage. There is no separate price list, and nothing to convert.

Requirements

The same submission requirements apply as for any DentaBRIDGE case:

Intraoral scan as STL, OBJ, or PLY, exported directly from your scanner.
Scan in occlusion, bite embedded.
Preparation margin fully visible, free of soft tissue and artifacts.
At least two natural reference teeth in the jaw.
