Overview
To ensure complete transparency, this article lists the products and case types not currently supported by DentalTwin.
This helps avoid confusion and ensures accurate case submissions in the DentalTwin portal.
❌ Products and Case Types Not Yet Supported
1. Smile Mock-ups and Aesthetic Previews
- Smile design mock-ups, digital aesthetic visualizations, or pre-visualisation tools for cosmetic dentistry are not yet available.
DentalTwin currently does not generate veneer-style or bonding mock-ups.
2. Edentulous Jaws (Complete Dentures)
- DentalTwin does not support fully edentulous jaws or complete denture design workflows yet. DentaCOMPLETE is coming soon.
- Our AI requires at least two remaining teeth per jaw for occlusal reference.
Full denture reconstruction is currently under research and not available for submission.
3. Tooth Reconstruction Cases (Veneers, Inlays, Onlays, Smile Redesign)
- DentalTwin does not generate direct tooth reconstruction models such as:
- Veneers
- Inlays or Onlays
- Smile redesign or aesthetic composite bonding cases
- These indications are outside of the current AI workflow.

🚀 Coming Soon: DentaBRIDGE
We are currently developing DentaBRIDGE, an upcoming product designed to generate ready-to-print STL files for crowns and bridges.
This new solution will further extend DentalTwin’s automated workflow capabilities by providing final restorative designs, ready for 3D printing or milling.
Expected release: within the next few months.
Why These Limitations Exist
DentalTwin’s generative AI workflows are designed for functional, prosthetic, and implant-supported restorations, where anatomical reference points are required.
Cases that rely solely on aesthetic design without functional data (e.g., smile mockups) fall outside the current validated model parameters.
Summary
At this stage, DentalTwin focuses on functional, AI-driven prosthetic and implant cases.
Support for cosmetic or fully edentulous workflows is not yet available, but future expansions are already in development.
