Understanding DT Credits & Free Cases

Learn how DentalTwin’s credits system works so you can unlock and download your case results with ease.

What Are DT Credits?

  • DT Credits are DentalTwin’s in-platform currency, used to unlock final case results (such as STL files).
  • You can see your current credits in the top right corner of the dashboard.

How Do Free Cases Work?

  • New customers receive 3 Free Cases upon registration.
  • Free cases can be used instead of spending credits.
  • If you have a free case available, you will see the Unlock Free Case button instead of Pay Now.

When Are Credits Used?

  • Credits are deducted only when you unlock a case (paid or free).
  • Unlocking a case makes the Download STL button available.

How to Get More Credits

  • If you have no credits available, clicking Pay Now will redirect you to the Credit Purchase page.
  • Credits can be purchased at any time via the DT Credits Subscription or purchase option in the portal.

Do Credits Expire?

  • Purchased credits never expire, so you can use them at your own pace.

Please Note

  • Credits are not refunded once a case is unlocked.
  • Version history is available if you request recalculations after unlocking a case (additional credits will be needed for new versions).
